Arsenal youngster quits the Emirates

Colchester have landed Arsenal youngster Craig Eastmond on a two-year deal. The midfielder, who won the FA Youth Cup during his time with the Gunners, impressed on loan in Essex before he broke his foot last season and now manager Joe Dunne has moved quickly to make the 22-year-old his first signing of the summer. League One Colchester have confirmed the deal is subject to paperwork clearance but, once that is in order, Eastmond will become a U's player on July 1 when his Arsenal contract ends.
